5/5/08: Happy Cinco De Mayo!  May 5th is Cinco De Mayo in Mexico, but for our master craftsman Joe it is his parents 63rd wedding anniversary!  Wow two people in love with each other and together for 63 years.  Hard to believe in this day and age, but it is true.  Married May 5, 1945.  Joe's dad was in the Navy and his mom was a civilian worker for the Navy and it was at his dads last duty station in Georgia where they met.  Congratulations to Joe's mom and dad.

Speaking of weddings Joe and Mona celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on May 3rd.  Congratulation to both of them.  Both Joe and Mona had a wonderful day.  

New summer hours are now in effect.  Monday -Friday 10:00-5:00. Saturdays 10:00-2:00, Closed Sundays but special appointments are available.                                                                                                      

4/21/2008: Well with spring here we got around to thinking about vacations.  It came to us that we haven't had a vacation in over six years. Four years that LN has been in business and a few years before that when we worked in the computer field.  So this summer we are going to take mini vacations.  Basically we are going to take a few Saturdays off.  This means that the shop will be closed for a Saturday giving us the weekend to "vacation".  Maybe we'll even post a few things about our vacations here on the blog.  The first vacation day will be Saturday May 3, 2008.  That's correct Leather Naturally will be closed on Saturday May 3, 2008.  We will reopen on May 5th. 

Speaking of May 5th.  We are going to change our store hours to summer hours starting on May 5, 2008.  The new summer hours will be as follows:

Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Closed Sundays.  But as always we will happily stay open later or on Sundays by appointment and special request. What other Leather Store is willing to do that?!

The change in hours will allow us to still provide you the same exceptional service you've come to love with Leather Naturally, plus allow us time to spend the nice summer evenings with our family, working on our yard and gardens and fixing up the old house.

4/16/08: After Tax Time.  We hope that everyones tax time was not that painful and hopefully you got some money back.  If you did get a refund why not spend it on a custom leather item at Leather Naturally.  You can do it your self, or we will happily do it for you.  We get a lot of people saying something like "I hope you stay around for a long while." or "this is a great shop are you going to stay in business."  Mind you that these good minded persons then leave and do not purchase anything.  If you want any business to stay open you need to purchase from them and you need to do it on a regular basis.  Whether it is a big box store or a small business like us if you do not buy from them they can't stay in business.  So take some of that refund tax check and visit your local merchants and make sure that Leather Naturally is on that list.  For those of you who have purchased from us before we thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts and hope you will come back again. If you have not purchased from us then what are you waiting for?  We're here for you and "All Your Leather Needs!"

One quick note on the catalog.  The PDF file is not up-loaded yet. It is to big of a file to transfer to our server so we will be making it into two smaller files in the near future and then it will be available.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

4/11/08: Our catalog is up now on line.  There you can look at it in web format or  you can download it and print it out in PDF format.  We made the decision to not have the ability to purchase on line with a credit card.  The reason for this is that prices on certain items are changing daily.  Brass and Nickel are  going up in price and that cost is showing up in the rivets, snaps, etc that use brass or nickel.  Also due to fuel costs the price of hides is going up and down daily also.  This means that even though we have one price in the catalog. When you want to order it may be at a higher price or it may be at a lower price.  It all depends on what the markets are doing.  At Leather Naturally we want to bring you the best price possible so therefore we don't want you paying more than you need to on any given item. 

3/21/08:  Happy Easter!  We would like to wish all our customers a very Happy Easter.  We are going to be closed on Saturday March 22nd so that we can prepare and enjoy the holiday with our family.  We will reopen at our regular time on Monday March 24th.  Remember that our craft area is available for small groups if you want to do something with your children during their spring break.
